A reamer-sizing reference for producing H7 holes. Each nominal reamer size is listed with its pilot-drill diameter (the drill used before reaming), reamer finished size, H7 tolerance band, expected surface finish, and recommended cutting speed. The pilot drill is typically 0.1–0.3 mm smaller than the reamer (e.g., Ø9.8 drill → Ø10.00 reamer for Ø10 H7), giving Ra 0.8 or better and tolerance within ±0.015 mm. Adjust Vc for through-holes, blind holes, and workpiece material.
