Cold Rolled Plate Spec Table

Cold Rolled Plate Specifications — 18 sizes
KS D 3512JIS G 3141

Cold-rolled (CR) steel plate such as SPCC and SPCD, with a smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy. Suitable for enclosures, panels, and precision parts in 0.3–3.2mm thickness.

Practical Notes

  • For thin gauges only (0.3–3.2mm). Use hot-rolled for thicknesses above 3.2mm.
  • Smooth surface provides excellent paint and plating adhesion. Ideal for exterior panels and appliance housings.

Selection Guide

Cold-rolled steel with smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy. SPCC/SPCD material for enclosures, panels, and precision parts. Thin gauge only: 0.3–3.2mm. Excellent paint and plating adhesion.

Key Features

  • KS D 3512 (SPCC/SPCD/SPCE); cold-rolled t0.1–3.2 mm with smooth glossy surface
  • Thickness tolerance ±0.01–0.05 mm; far superior dimensional precision vs hot-rolled
  • Excellent formability (SPCE: deep drawing); good adhesion for plating and painting

Key Applications

Appliance outer panels, automotive body panels, office furniture, interior building materials, electrical/electronic chassis

FAQ

Difference between SPCC and SPCD?

SPCC is general cold-rolled; SPCD is for drawing with better ductility. Use SPCD or SPCE (extra deep drawing) for deep press forming.
