This specification follows ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards. ISO ensures cross-border compatibility, making it ideal for multinational projects, export equipment design, and global parts procurement.

Zinc plating is the most common corrosion protection for steel parts. Thicknesses of 5–25 μm provide sacrificial anode protection; combined with trivalent chromate conversion, the coating achieves 24–240 hours salt-spray (SST) resistance. Non-electrolytic zinc systems such as Dacromet and Geomet are the standard for high-strength bolts to avoid hydrogen embrittlement.
