This specification follows ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards. ISO ensures cross-border compatibility, making it ideal for multinational projects, export equipment design, and global parts procurement.

Anodizing grows an electrochemical oxide (Al₂O₃) layer on aluminum surfaces. Type I (chromic acid) is ultra-thin and aerospace-focused; Type II (sulfuric acid) is for general coloring and decoration; Type III (hard anodizing) deposits 25–100 μm layers with HV 500+ hardness for wear-resistant parts. Dye absorption enables a wide range of colors, and the oxide itself is an electrical insulator.
