BLDC Motor Spec Table

BLDC Motor Specifications — 4 sizes
JIS C 4034-1

This specification follows JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards). JIS is highly compatible with Korean KS standards and is essential when sourcing or maintaining Japanese-manufactured parts and equipment.

A brushless DC motor with long life and high efficiency, used in drones, power tools, EVs, and medical devices.

Practical Notes

  • Dedicated driver (ESC or FOC controller) is mandatory. Direct power connection without a driver won't work.
  • Sensorless mode is unstable at very low speeds. Choose hall-sensor-equipped type for precise low-speed control.

Selection Guide

Brushless design for long life and low electrical noise. Over 90% efficiency enables compact, lightweight design. Used in robot joints, drones, power tools, and medical devices. Requires dedicated driver (ESC/FOC controller).

Key Features

  • Brushless permanent magnet DC motor; zero brush wear for long life and low noise
  • Electronically commutated (ESC/inverter); high efficiency (90%+) and wide speed range
  • Outer rotor (outrunner) or inner rotor (inrunner); torque-speed optimized per application

Key Applications

EV drives, drone propellers, air conditioner outdoor fan, medical device pumps, HVAC blowers

FAQ

Difference between BLDC motor and AC servo?

BLDC uses trapezoidal commutation — simpler and cheaper. AC servo uses sinusoidal (FOC) drive for superior precision and response. Precision→servo; general drive→BLDC.
