Copper Plate Spec Table

Copper Plate Specifications — 6 sizes
KS D 5201

Copper plate (C1100 tough-pitch copper, etc.) with excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, used for electrical parts, heat sinks, and gaskets.

Practical Notes

  • Pure copper (C1100) produces long chips during machining — adjust cutting conditions (feed, flute count) carefully.
  • Copper develops green patina in air. Apply clear coating where appearance matters.

Selection Guide

For electrical and thermal conductivity. Used in busbars, heat exchangers, electrical contacts. Pure copper (C1100) is standard with good machinability and solderability.
