Electroless nickel deposits a nickel-phosphorus alloy through chemical reduction without electric current. Phosphorus content classifies it as low-P (1–4%, hardness-focused), mid-P (5–9%, general purpose), or high-P (10–12%, best corrosion resistance). Its key advantage is uniform thickness even on complex geometries. The high-P variant offers 1000+ hours SST resistance and non-magnetic properties, making it standard for semiconductor and medical equipment.
